We loved our stay! The location was brilliant, right by the canal and close to shops and cafes.

Charming hotel with a great canal view
I loved the beautiful canal views from my spacious room and appreciated the complimentary minibar drinks that added a nice touch to my stay. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore all the local attractions on foot. However, be prepared for the steep stairs as there are no elevators, which might be a challenge if you have heavy luggage.

Great staff and perfect location!
This place was awesome! Super helpful staff made everything easy, and we were right by all the cool spots. Our room was cozy and clean. Only thing was the stairs—getting up to the room felt like a workout. The coffee machine was a nice touch for mornings with some decent pastries too.

It was just a balanced option for a speedy visit in Amsterdam with good price value. Staff helped us get our luggage up and down three steep flights of stairs. Bring some earplugs if noise might bother you during your stay.

The location of Grand Canal Boutique hit the spot, right next to all the main attractions. The decor carried a unique charm, especially around the lobby area. I appreciated the complimentary pastries and snacks available throughout the day. they were a delightful touch. My room had a beautiful view of the canal, perfect for enjoying with a morning coffee. However, the room cleanliness did leave much to be desired. Dust was noticeable on surfaces, and the bathroom had mildew around the edges. The noise from the room upstairs was bothersome. I struggled to get a good night's sleep because of it. Also, with no air conditioning and a heatwave during my stay, it became uncomfortably hot. I think the management really needs to prioritize cleanliness and address the noise issues. It could be such a wonderful place with a few improvements.

The charm of the hotel and its lovely location made the stay enjoyable, even if the room cleanliness fell short and the temperature was quite uncomfortable. Staff was helpful, but the absence of air conditioning was notable. Still, the charming surroundings provided a nice backdrop for our trip.
